Eagle Lake Island Lodge is a full service fishing resort providing superior customer service and an amazing fishing experience. Our staff live and work on site.
If you enjoy variety, meeting people, and being active then this position might be for you. This role is responsible for supervising the housekeeping team as well as completing housekeeping, serving and kitchen support duties at an off-grid fishing resort on an island near Dryden, Ontario. This position is expected to do some minor administrative tasks, coordinating & supervising the team member's duties and performing the guest services like housekeeping and serving alongside your team members. Occasionally minor odd job work like painting/staining, gardening and other camp project work is required. You are a key part of our team that provides outstanding customer care in diverse aspects like in coordinating birthday songs, setting up a scavenger hunt, to taking and posting great photos on social media and the website.

Key Duties for this position include:

Housekeeping

Cleaning of 9 guest cabins (making beds, cleaning washroom, kitchen, floors, etc.)
Laundry (bedding & towels)
Re-stocking inventory (toilet paper, soap, paper towel, etc.)
Cleaning of outhouses and laundry/pump house

Kitchen/Dining Room/Lodge
Dish-washing
Kitchen & equipment - cleaning & maintenance




Prep work (peeling/washing/cutting of vegetables; toasting bread, etc.)
Sandwiches
Cleaning of dining room, washroom, & lodge including vacuuming & mopping of floors.

Serving
Serving breakfast & supper meals as required
Assisting with meal/dishes prepping & clean-up
Providing exceptional customer care

Guest numbers vary from 30-50 with a regular set menu rotation.

Start date for the full season is early May and end date is early October (this is dependent on the ice being off the lake since it is on an island).
