Overview

The Commercial Electrical Service Technician installs, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical systems in commercial settings. The role involves interpreting technical information, selecting appropriate tools, and completing service and renovation work with care and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

- Read blueprints and schematics to understand system layouts, identify components, and plan service tasks.
- Use hand tools and power tools to install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment, including low-voltage systems.
- Diagnose electrical issues, complete repairs, and verify that systems operate as intended.
- Support construction and renovation projects, coordinating work details with colleagues and communicating service updates.

Requirements

Required: 3 years + service experience, troubleshoot electrical systems, clean driving abstract, safe use of hand and power tools, aptitude for problem solving, and a positive attitude towards safety

Pay: $40.00-$44.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
