Our client, a distributor of socks and nurses’ scrubs, is hiring a permanent Order Picker in Oakville.

Location: Oakville, near Burloak Drive and Wyecroft Road.
Training: Training will take place at the Mississauga facility near Derry Road and Hurontario Street.
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Pay: $22.50/hour
Position type: Permanent, direct hire
Pay schedule: Weekly, every Friday

Job Responsibilities

- Pick and fulfill orders using a wrist or finger scanner (RF Scanner)
- Package items in boxes and prepare orders for shipment
- Label, sort, and stage products according to customer orders
- Use a pump truck to move products throughout the warehouse
- Bend, lift, and carry up to 40 pounds
- Perform inventory counts and stock replenishment
- Verify order accuracy and inspect products for damage
- Maintain clean and organized workstations
- Meet daily productivity and quality targets
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors

Requirements

- Previous Picking and Packaging experience: including order picking,



using RF Scanner, packaging, labelling, sorting, using pump truck is required
- Must be able to bend and lift up to 40 pounds
- Must have safety shoes and own a safety vest
- Must be able to commute to the Oakville location
