Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Uncertified Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. This entry-level role offers an exciting opportunity to develop hands-on skills working with a variety of heavy equipment, industrial machinery, and automotive systems. As an Uncertified Mechanic, you will assist experienced technicians in performing repairs, maintenance, and inspections across diverse machinery including excavators, cranes, forklifts, farm equipment, and more. This position is ideal for individuals eager to build a career in mechanical repair and maintenance within a quick-paced environment that values growth and learning.

Duties

- Assist senior mechanics with routine maintenance tasks on heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery
- Support the inspection and troubleshooting of mechanical systems using schematics and technical manuals
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other industrial tools to perform repairs under supervision
- Help with the assembly and disassembly of machinery components for repair or replacement




- Conduct basic electrical and mechanical diagnostics to identify issues with equipment performance
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to safety protocols during maintenance activities
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used for each service or repair task

Experience

- No prior mechanic certification required; on-the-job training provided
- Dealership experience or exposure to heavy equipment operation is a plus but not mandatory
- Familiarity with automotive repair or industrial machinery is advantageous
- Basic understanding of schematics, electrical systems, and mechanical components preferred
- Experience working with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting is beneficial
- Strong mechanical knowledge with an eagerness to learn new skills in maintenance and repair fields
- Excellent customer service skills are valued for communicating effectively with team members and clients when needed

Monday - Friday - 8:00pm - 5:00pm

Pay: $25.00 per hour
