We are hiring a Maintenance technician for our multi-unit residential buildings within the Saint John Area.

Taking direction from the Site Supervisor / Property Managers, this busy role requires a person who can work safely and efficiently with little direct supervision.

You will have experience in many aspects of building repair: troubleshooting, painting, drywall patch, window screen replacement, caulking of plumbing fixtures, basic equipment maintenance, carpentry skills, plumbing / electrical trouble shooting, appliance installation (dishwashers, OTR microwave), etc.

A stickler for details, you take pride in your work and the finished product. Your job sites are left cleaner than when you arrived.

You are comfortable completing work orders that detail time and materials spent and description of work done.

You will have your own basic hand tools. You will be given a Work vehicle & Work cell phone

A valid drivers license is required as well as a clean driving record (required to operate our service truck)

Responsibilities

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues, utilizing schematics and technical manuals.
- Conduct facilities maintenance tasks, including carpentry and plumbing, to maintain a secure and efficient work environment.
- Document maintenance activities using CMMS and assist in supervising junior technicians as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing maintenance-related inquiries and ensuring timely resolution of issues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
