Read on to learn how you can join our team and make an impact We’re looking for aForestry Superintendent to join our Woodlands Division with offices in Slave Lake, High Prairie and High Level, Alberta. Combined we are responsible for managing approximately 3,200,000 m3, delivered to our mills in Slave Lake, High Prairie and High Level annually. We are dedicated to sustaining these areas to the benefit of all who live and work there. Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

- Minimum10+ years ofrelated industry experience.
- Currently registered or eligible as aForestry Professional in Alberta.
- Experience inmanaging large scale projects and coordinating staff to innovate and deliver organizational results.
- Excellentleadership and communication skills with the ability to work in a team setting.
- Strong knowledge of relatedAB Forest legislation and implementation .
- Possess a well-developedunderstanding of, timber harvesting, silviculture systems and forest stewardship planning, and timber development .
- Ability to build and maintain relationships withIndigenous communities, government,



public andinternal and external stakeholders .
- Unwaveringcommitment to safety and the ability to demonstrate safe behaviors.

In this role you will:

- Oversee a team of forest professionals who are responsible forimplementing landscape level plans to facilitateforest development and subsequentharvesting and stewardship programs for approximately 3,200,000 m3 annually.
- Lead and manage operational relationships with Indigenous, stakeholders and the public as required to secure fibre for Tolko’s manufacturing facilities.
- Leadlandscape level planning initiatives and strategic coordination to support operational timber development.
- The Forestry Superintendent isresponsible for the coordination of the Operational Planning for all the Alberta operations.
- Standardization of best practices related to Planning and Operational Excellence.
- Ensuring that Annual Operating Plans and General Development Plans are “operationally” sound and mitigate environmental, flora, watershed,



wildlife and soil concerns.
- Foster strategic partnerships with our contractors and managing contracts in a way that willcreate efficiencies and give us the competitive advantage of securing fibre.
- Have the benefit of a flexible schedule working between office and field work. You areempoweredto manage priority initiatives and schedule your time accordingly.
