Wonder Years Child Care is looking to build their supply list.

Individuals will be called on an as needed basis, as well as scheduled in advance for required coverage.

Duties may include but are not limited to:

Working with children, families and other staff members to create and follow a learning curriculum.

Demonstrate strong communication skills with children, families and staff members.

Facilitate a variety of individual and group learning experiences.

Demonstrate flexibility as you could be working with different age groups and staff members.

Share documentation with families and ensure positive communication throughout the day.

Develop and implement experiences that support and promote physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children.





Develop a positive relationship with children and families to help support them to identify their child(ren)'s developmental strengths/needs through daily communication.

Kitchen coverage may be required - Valid Food Handlers Certification is a bonus

Wonder Years would like individuals to have knowledge of the Child Care Early Years Act (CCEYA) and licensing regulations, Early Learning for Every Child Today (ELECT) document, and How Does Learning Happen.

MUST HAVE:

* Standard First Aid & CPR Training (Child & Infant Level)

* Criminal Reference Check & Vulnerable Sector Check

Job Types: Part time, Casual

Pay: $17.95-$25.86 per hour

Education:

- Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

- Childcare: 2 years (preferred)
