Job Overview

Front Counter Staff & Kitchen Helper supports smooth restaurant service by assisting customers at the counter and helping prepare and maintain the kitchen. This hands-on role combines friendly service, accurate transactions, food preparation, and attention to food safety and sanitation.

Duties

- Welcome customers, take orders, answer questions, and provide attentive customer service while identifying appropriate opportunities for upselling.
- Operate the POS system, including Micros POS where used, process payments, handle cash, and use basic math to verify transactions.
- Assist with food preparation and serving, follow safe food-handling practices, and keep work areas and equipment clean and sanitary.
- Coordinate tasks with kitchen and front-counter colleagues, using time management to support productive service. Your impact:

Requirements

Required: Practical customer service, cashiering, cash handling, basic math, food preparation, food handling, food safety, and sanitation capabilities support the daily duties. Time management and clear communication help maintain organized service and effective teamwork. Preferred: Food service, restaurant, food industry, serving, or kitchen experience; familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, and confidence with upselling are advantageous.

Pay: $17.95 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 21.0 per week
