Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in repairing and maintaining heavy machinery. This role requires proficiency in diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will work with various types of oilfield service equipment, with experience working on hydraulics, pumps, motors, electrical, etc.

Responsibilities

- Diagnose mechanical issues in oilfield service equipment.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on various types of equipment, including electrical systems, hydraulics, pumps, motors, etc.
- Utilize hand and power tools to fix or replace defective parts.
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot equipment problems.
- Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and operational requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and parts inventory.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance service delivery.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic or in a similar role.




- Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
- Familiarity with oilfield equipment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficient in using hand tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic instruments.
- Ability to read schematics and technical manuals for various types of machinery.
- Experience in automotive repair is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact effectively with clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45.00-$85.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
