Morning shifts weekdays mostly 9am-3pm.

We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Food Counter Attendant to join our vibrant food service team. In this role, you will be the friendly face that greets customers, prepares and serves food items efficiently, and ensures a clean and welcoming environment. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create a positive dining experience for every guest. Duties

- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring freshness and presentation.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS, to process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food counter area, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, upselling menu items, and ensuring guest satisfaction.




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high standards of food quality.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as slicing, assembling ingredients, or restocking supplies as needed.

Skills

- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on customer interaction.
- Solid knowledge of food handling procedures and safety protocols in the food industry.
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for smooth transaction processing.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and order processing.
- Effective communication skills to engage with customers and team members positively.
- Experience in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities while providing excellent service.
