Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while efficiently handling transactions and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This role requires strong time management skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure, ensuring a positive experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing credit card payments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their orders.
- Prepare food items as needed, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Utilize POS systems, including Micros POS, to process orders and manage inventory effectively.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness in the cashier area and dining space,



ensuring compliance with sanitation guidelines.
- Assist in food preparation tasks as required, demonstrating knowledge of food handling practices.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Experience

- Previous experience in cashiering or food service is preferred, with a robust understanding of the food industry.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS and QuickBooks, is a plus.
- Basic math skills are essential for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Experience in serving or kitchen roles is beneficial, showcasing versatility within the restaurant environment.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.50-$24.17 per hour
