Summary
We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Carpenter to join our dynamic team at Shamrock Building Services Ltd. This position is essential for executing high-quality renovations and construction projects, contributing directly to our mission of delivering exceptional service and craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Perform carpentry tasks including framing, structural and water damage repairs, window and door instalaltions, building envelope detail, cladding instalaltions.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to execute projects accurately.
- Ensure all work complies with building codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
- Maintain tools and equipment in valuable working condition.
- Assist in the training of apprentices or less experienced carpenters.
Requirements
- Valid Journeyperson Carpenter certification.
- Proven experience in residential and commercial carpentry.
- Strong understanding of building codes and safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
