We are recruiting Red Seal Electricians for an Industrial Project in Logan Lake for Night Shift

The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 993 (IBEW 993) represents electrical workers in Northern BC and Yukon.

Responsibilities:

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems per codes and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Adhere to safety protocols and collaborate with project teams.
- Inspect and test systems for quality assurance.
- Keep accurate work and material records.
- AWP and Fall Arrest mandatory, training provided free in Kamloops.

Qualifications:

- Certified Red Seal Journey Electrician with completed apprenticeship.
- Experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of CEC, strong attention to detail, and problem-solving skills

Job Information:

- Bus transportation to site will be available from Kamloops, Merritt, and Logan Lake.
- Must be able to pass a swab drug test and alcohol test.
- Must be clean-shaven daily, including for orientation.
- Work will take place in a dusty environment with changing weather conditions.




- Work involves both indoor and outdoor duties, with significant walking required.

Night Shift Details:

- Shift: 7:00 PM – 5:30 AM
- Night Shift Premium: $6.00 per hour + regular rate $51.47.
- Rotation: 14 days on, 7 days off, with 10-hour shifts.
- Overtime x1.5 after 40hours and x2 after 60 hours per week.
