Chandan Fashion in Toronto is a leading South Asian fashion boutique specializing in Bridal Wear since 1984. Expanding to Brampton, Ontario with its second location, Chandan Heritage is hiring several positions.

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team. This role involves engaging with customers, demonstrating product features, and providing exceptional service to enhance the shopping experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for retail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual abilities and experience in technology sales are highly valued. This position offers an chance to develop sales skills, gain product knowledge, and contribute to a welcoming retail atmosphere.

Duties

- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to customers, highlighting benefits and upselling opportunities
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments
- Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and ensuring products are well-stocked and attractive
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries,



resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Assist with inventory management, stock replenishment, and product organization
- Promote store promotions and special offers to maximize sales opportunities
- Use effective phone etiquette when communicating with customers over the phone or via other channels
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills by managing time efficiently during busy periods

Experience

- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with technology products or technical sales is a plus
- Bilingual abilities (English and other languages) are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Experience with merchandising, POS systems, cashiering, and upselling techniques is advantageous
- Strong communication skills, including active listening and clear articulation of product information
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and maintain professionalism during high-volume periods

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.20 per hour
