Job Overview

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Designer and Project Manager to join our team. This role is critical to ensuring the delivery, quality, and efficiency of our diesel and natural gas generator exhaust unit production line. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong background in manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Data Management and Analysis:
- Utilize software extensively to track parts, processes, file/documentation changes.
- VBA or other programming experience is advantageous.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks is highly favored.
- Technical Calculations:
- Perform calculations related to stress, force, speed, acceleration, and deflection.
- Utilize these calculations to optimize designs.
- Assembly Line Efficiency Projects:
- Implement improvements such as barcode scanning, racking, and staging/order of operations.
- Create or revise fabrication processes to improve cost and efficiency.
- Fixture design projects
- Coordinate tooling purchases to enhance production efficiency.
- Design and Automation Projects:
- Lead projects focused on automation, fixture design, building upgrades, and tooling evaluation/customization.




- Customize and integrate computer software and hardware.
- Provide maintenance and troubleshooting support for production tools and equipment.

Qualifications:

- 1-5 years experience in a related
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Robotics, or Electrical Engineering. Degree or Diploma in Programming/Computer Science may also be considered with experience in creating tools for manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong proficiency in Excel; VBA or other programming skills are a plus.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks highly favored
- Experience with design calculations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
