Overview

The Dishwasher/Prep Cook supports smooth, clean, and organized kitchen operations by washing dishes, maintaining work areas, and assisting with food preparation. This hands-on role combines cleaning, food handling, and basic cooking tasks while contributing to a welcoming hospitality experience.

Responsibilities

- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen surfaces, keeping work areas clean and orderly.
- Prepare ingredients by washing, cutting, portioning, and storing food safely according to kitchen procedures.
- Assist with cooking and food service tasks, follow directions from kitchen colleagues, and replenish supplies as needed.
- Handle food carefully, maintain organized storage areas, and support serving needs when requested.

Requirements

Required: Practical cleaning, food handling, and food preparation capabilities, with care for cleanliness, organization, and protected kitchen routines. The role also calls for following instructions, supporting cooking tasks, and working cooperatively with colleagues in a busy service environment. Preferred: Restaurant, kitchen, food service, hotel, serving, or hospitality experience, along with familiarity with kitchen workflows and guest-focused service.

Pay: $18.25-$24.66 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
