Hranco Industries Ltd. is a leading structural steel fabricator with over 50 years of experience serving industrial, oil & gas, commercial, and agricultural clients across Western Canada and beyond. Operating from a modern 55,000 sq. ft. facility equipped for large-scale projects (capacity up to 400,000 lbs per month), we are certified to ISO 9001:2015, CWB, ABSA, COR, and CISC standards. We deliver complete solutions from design and fabrication through installation, always focused on quality, safety, and on-time delivery.

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager / Estimator with a strong structural steel background to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare accurate estimates, material takeoffs, and competitive quotations for structural steel fabrication and related projects.
- Plan, schedule, and manage projects from award through fabrication, finishing, and delivery/installation.
- Coordinate with clients, suppliers, shop teams, and subcontractors to ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards.
- Monitor costs, track progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to maintain profitability and client satisfaction.
- Review drawings, specifications, and shop drawings; resolve technical and commercial issues.
- Support continuous improvement in estimating accuracy, project processes, and overall delivery performance.

Qualifications

- Must have a solid structural steel background — hands-on experience in fabrication, estimating, detailing,



or project management of structural steel is required.
- Proven ability to read and interpret structural drawings, bills of materials, and specifications.
- Experience preparing takeoffs and quotations for structural steel projects.
- Strong project management skills (scheduling, budgeting, resource coordination, client communication).
- Knowledge of CWB standards, fabrication processes, and industry best practices is an asset.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills; comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant post-secondary education (Construction Management, Engineering, or related) or equivalent experience preferred. Estimating or project management software experience is an asset.

Schedule: Day shift, Monday–Friday (with overtime and occasional weekend work as needed)

Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
