Job Summary

Granite and marble installers measure, prepare, and fit stone surfaces for construction and renovation projects. The role involves careful handling, accurate cuts, secure installation, and clean finishing to deliver durable, polished results.

Duties

- Measure work areas, review plans and schematics, and prepare stone pieces for accurate fitting.
- Use hand tools to cut, shape, position, and secure granite and marble surfaces.
- Prepare installation areas, coordinate with other trades, and complete caulking and finishing work.
- Inspect completed installations, address restoration needs, and maintain an orderly, protected work area.

Skills

Required:



Practical hand-tool skills, accurate measuring, careful material handling, and the ability to follow installation plans support safe, precise stone work. Clear communication and attention to detail help coordinate tasks and deliver clean finishes.

Preferred: Construction experience, carpentry, blueprint reading, drywall, caulking, schematics, restoration, construction painting, plumbing, welding, flooring installation, or tile laying can support work across varied project settings.

Pay: $19.95-$25.00 per hour
