NMT Auto Service is a family-owned and operated automotive repair facility located in Oakville, Ontario. We are a full-service automotive shop specializing in all aspects of automotive service and repair.

We are looking for a fully licensed 310S Automotive Technician to join our growing team.

The Technician We're Looking For

The successful candidate is a fully licensed 310S technician who can confidently perform repairs with minimal supervision.

We're looking for someone who:

- Holds a valid 310S Automotive Service Technician licence
- Has strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
- Can accurately diagnose complex vehicle concerns
- Is comfortable working on all makes and models
- Can work independently and efficiently
- Takes pride in quality workmanship

- Can read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical information

Responsibilities

As a licensed technician at NMT, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a wide range of automotive concerns, including:

- Complete vehicle inspections and maintenance
- Advanced mechanical diagnosis and repair
- Electrical and drivability diagnosis
- Brake, steering, and suspension systems
- Engine and transmission repairs
- Fuel and emissions systems
- HVAC systems
- Starting and charging systems
- Advanced electrical diagnosis
- Engine performance and drivability concerns
- ADAS-related diagnosis and repairs
- Tire and wheel service
- Using OEM and aftermarket diagnostic equipment
- Accurately documenting vehicle concerns and repairs
- Completing repairs according to proper procedures and industry standards
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area

Compensation & Benefits

$35–$45 per hour, based on experience, diagnostic ability, productivity, and overall skill level.

Requirements

- Valid 310S Automotive Service Technician licence
- Previous professional automotive repair experience
- Strong diagnostic and mechanical abilities
- Valid driver's licence
- Clean driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
