Overview

The Tamil Speaking Social Worker/Nurse Practitioner/Psychotherapist supports children and families through coordinated, culturally responsive care. The role combines patient care, case management, and collaboration with colleagues to help address individual needs across care and education settings.

Duties

- Provide patient care and communicate with Tamil-speaking children and families about their needs and care plans.
- Coordinate case management, document relevant information, and collaborate with care teams and education professionals, including those involved in special education.
- Support pediatric care and contribute to research and data collection, using medical terminology accurately.
- Apply relevant hospital experience to help connect families with appropriate services and support.

Requirements

Requirements

- Master’s degree in Psychology, Counselling,



Social work or a related field.
- Valid licensure as a Psychotherapist or equivalent in the state of practice.
- Familiarity with hospital settings and pediatric care is preferred.
- Strong skills in case management and patient care coordination.
- Ability to conduct research and data collection for program evaluation purposes.

Pay: $42.28-$60.38 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 5.0 per week
