Position

We are currently looking for a Machine Operator position. This position is responsible for working with heavy machinery from setup to operation. If you are reliable and dedicated to fill this position and have strong time management and problem solving abilities please apply below!

Essential duties, responsibilities and requirements include but are not limited to the following:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Ensure that safety policies, housekeeping rules and guidelines, quality standards, and standard operating procedures are followed




- preparing custom ordered components within required timeframes and meeting company standards for quality using various heavy machinery including table saw, mitre saw and hand tools.
- Operate the moulder machine to make parts to complete daily orders
- Utilize the spindle shaper plus other machines to make door components
- Other duties as required.

Position Requirements:

- Prior experience in the woodworking or cabinetry industry is an asset, training is provided
- Must have basic to intermediate level computer skills, as the machines are CNC based.
- Must be flexible to work additional hours as required including Saturdays.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude, willingness to learn and cross-train.
- Ability to lift 20-70 lbs.
- Wear personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, ear protection, safety shoes, gloves and any other protective equipment deemed necessary.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
