Job Summary

As a Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic in Northern Alberta, you’ll maintain, inspect, and repair heavy equipment and industrial machinery. Your work helps keep equipment dependable and supports customers and colleagues with timely, practical service.

Responsibilities

- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using hand and power tools, schematics, and sound mechanical knowledge.
- Perform maintenance, repairs, assembly, and welding on heavy equipment, including excavators, cranes, forklifts, Caterpillar equipment, logging trucks
- Apply safe practices when handling tools, equipment, and heavy lifting, and communicate repair findings clearly.

Experience

Required: Practical mechanic experience, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to use hand and power tools, interpret schematics, and perform maintenance and repairs.



Electrical experience and safe heavy equipment operation support effective work. Preferred: experience and familiarity with Caterpillar equipment, excavators, cranes, forklifts, industrial equipment, assembly, welding,

Pay: $50.00-$52.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
