Job Overview

As an Automotive Service Technician, you’ll inspect, maintain, and repair vehicles and related equipment, using sound mechanical judgment and safe work practices. You’ll help customers and colleagues by completing dependable repairs and clearly sharing service findings.

Responsibilities

- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using schematics, hand tools, and power tools; perform automotive repair, maintenance, and assembly.
- Inspect and service relevant systems, including HVAC.
- Inspect, service and repair a wide variety of cars and trucks, with larger focus on Japanese vehicles.
- Explain findings and completed work clearly, providing information to service advisor

Experience

Required: Practical mechanical knowledge, safe use of hand and power tools,



and the ability to perform maintenance, automotive repair, and assembly while following schematics and protected work practices. Electrical experience and physical readiness for job-related heavy lifting support effective service work. Preferred: Mechanic experience, dealership experience, and familiarity with engine, HVAC, brake, suspension, electrical. Clear communication skills, team player attitude and willingness to learn are critical skills.

Pay: From $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
