Barista, Food Prep, Cashier

Looking for a part-time Barista/ All Rounder to join our small team at a cafe in Aurora, Ontario

This is a part-time position offering two-to-three shifts per week. Candidates must be available to work weekends plus another day or two during the week.

Primary duties Include but are not limited to:

· Preparing espresso-based drinks

· Helping to prepare sandwiches, smoothies and other simple food items

· Cleaning work space at end of day, including sweeping and mopping floor, taking out trash

· Tracking inventory & restocking

· Counter service/customer service; experience using a POS

Experience & Other Requirements

· Experience making espresso-based drinks. Latte Art.

· Excellent communication skills. Candidates must sincerely enjoy interacting and getting to know regular customers.





· A self-starter who takes initiative without being told, especially when it comes to keeping the work space stocked, clean and tidy

· Candidates must have ability to go up and down stairs several times per day

*Candidates must have their Food Safety Certificate or be willing to get it before employment begins. Employer will pay for course for the right candidate.

Compensation: $17.90 per hour, plus tips
