We are currently recruiting for a Window Wall Draftsperson to join our growing team. Ideally, this person is an energetic, forward-thinking individual with experience working within the glazing industry.

Sky Window Technologies specializes in highrise window manufacturing and installation throughout the GTA. We are a leader in the Canadian window wall industry and are centrally located in North Toronto.

RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Reading and interpreting blue prints
- Produce shop drawing packages of our product line from architectural drawings
- Prepare and issue RFI's as required
- Review site instructions regularly to identify impact on our scope of work and to incorporate changes accordingly
- Work closely with project manager to develop customized details
- Make effective decisions independently
- Communicate effectively with sales representatives and clients
- Collaborate with others as a part of a team
- Check and verify design drawings to conform to specifications and design data
- Prepare material takeoffs
- Other duties as may be assigned

QUALIFICATIONS





- College Diploma in Architectural Technology
- Strong ability to work with AutoCAD
- 4+ years of experience in window-wall
- Possess exceptional organizational and problem solving skills
- Ability to read blue prints
- Computer proficiency in word processing and data management programs
- Mathematical skills are an asset
- Must be well organized
