About the Position

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Control Room Operator to join one of our clients in the manufacturing industry.

This position involves overseeing industrial production processes, ensuring equipment operates within required parameters, and maintaining consistent product quality.

We are looking for someone who has a solid understanding of manufacturing operations, enjoys working with technical systems, and can respond effectively to equipment or process-related challenges.

Primary Duties

- Supervise manufacturing operations by observing process readings, equipment conditions, and production performance.
- Regulate operating controls and make necessary adjustments to keep production within established performance targets.
- Maintain effective product flow and ensure production output meets company quality requirements.
- Detect process variations, investigate operational concerns, and implement appropriate solutions.
- Optimize equipment utilization to support production efficiency and reduce unnecessary downtime.
- Prepare accurate shift reports, including production results, equipment issues, maintenance concerns, and reportable incidents.
- Exchange important operational information with incoming personnel to maintain continuity between shifts.
- Coordinate with other team members to address production and equipment-related concerns.




- Adhere to standard operating procedures, workplace safety practices, and company policies.
- Carry out other duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience

- Previous employment in a manufacturing or industrial production facility.
- Experience in food processing or industrial manufacturing is an advantage.
- Mechanical aptitude with an understanding of equipment operation and industrial processing systems.
- Basic knowledge of pressure, steam, heat transfer, temperature regulation, fluid flow, and mechanical forces.
- Ability to assess operating conditions, identify potential problems, and determine suitable corrective measures.
- Strong analytical thinking and practical troubleshooting abilities.
- Organized, dependable, and capable of maintaining accurate operational records.
- Excellent attention to detail and effective communication skills.
- Ability to manage responsibilities independently while working cooperatively with others.
- Physical ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Availability to work a 12-hour continental day shift rotation.
