Job Summary

The Refinery is looking for a friendly, organized, and enthusiastic Receptionist to join our team.

The Refinery is a welcoming spa offering a variety of services and treatments. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional customer service and creating a relaxing, positive experience for every client who walks through our doors.

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and play an important role in keeping the spa running smoothly. We are looking for someone who is personable, reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a busy workplace.

Duties

- Greet clients and provide a friendly, welcoming experience.
- Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and assist with client inquiries.
- Book, confirm, and manage appointments using our scheduling software.
- Process payments, gift card purchases, and retail transactions.
- Provide clients with information about spa services, treatments, and skincare products.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception and retail area.




- Assist with retail sales and promote current spa offers and promotions.
- Support spa staff with daily operations and scheduling.
- Address client questions and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures.

Experience

- Previous experience in reception, customer service, or hospitality is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a busy environment.
- Friendly, professional, and positive attitude.
- Comfortable using computers, booking software, and payment systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Interest in skincare, wellness, and the spa industry is an asset.
- Required: Availability to work mornings, evenings, and Saturdays.

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
