We are currently seeking an experienced Foreman Carpenter in commercial concrete formwork to join our team.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and coordinate daily formwork carpentry activities

- Assist and direct crew members to meet project schedules and production targets

- Install concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps and shoring for foundations, retaining walls, suspended slabs & stairs at commercial construction sites

- Use and operate required hand and power tools

- Read and interpret blueprints

- Review and follow safety policies and procedures

- Work at heights and in all weather conditions

- Perform physically demanding labour in a fast-paced setting

- Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Experience:

- Formwork carpentry 5 years minimum

- Crew leadership

- Knowledge of construction site safety practices

Working Conditions:

- Position is physically demanding

- Exposure to all elements of outdoor work.

- Available to work overtime

- Working safely at all times

Location: Various job site locations in Okanagan region and Northern BC

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week

Work Location: In person
