Job description:

We are looking for an experienced Commercial & Industrial Refrigeration Technician (313A) to join our team. This role is ideal for a skilled professional who is confident in handling complex refrigeration systems in commercial and industrial settings. If you have a strong background in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do:

- Install, service, and repair commercial and industrial refrigeration systems, including walk-in coolers, freezers, chillers, and HVAC units.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to ensure optimal system performance.
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections to minimize downtime and ensure efficiency.
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete service calls in a timely and qualified manner.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and recommendations for customers.
- Adhere to safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance.

What We’re Looking For:

- Must hold a valid 313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic License.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in commercial or industrial refrigeration.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical refrigeration components.




- Ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of refrigeration systems with minimal supervision.
- Valid G-class driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- ODP Certification (Ozone Depletion Prevention) is required.
- Gas Technician 1 or 2 certification is an asset but not mandatory.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in various environments, including cold storage facilities and rooftop units.

Schedule & Work Conditions:

- Monday to Friday with on-call rotation as needed.
- Work in both indoor and outdoor environments, including rooftops and mechanical rooms.
