CNC Machinist - Windsor, NS

They specialize in providing high-precision CNC machining, manual machining, CNC water jet cutting, and full fabrication services, including certified welding, bending, and shearing. Additionally, they offer value-added services such as assembly, in-house testing, and a variety of finishing processes. Their expertise spans multiple industries, including industrial, defense, commercial, and marine sectors, making them a reliable one-stop solution for custom manufacturing needs.

Our client is currently looking for a CNC Machinist to join their team in Windsor West Hants, NS.

Responsibilities:

- Program, set up, and operate CNC lathe machines to produce precision components.
- Follow engineering drawings and specifications to machine parts accurately.
- Load, secure, and organize raw materials and finished parts for processing.
- Monitor machining operations and adjust settings to maintain quality standards.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools like calipers, micrometers,



and gauges.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Perform basic preventative maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience as a CNC machinist.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings with precision.
- Robust attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Red Seal Certification (Machining) or an equivalent trade certification preferred.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software an asset.
- Ability to program machines offline using models an asset.
