Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled, reliable, and motivated Handyman / Building Maintenance Technician to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in general construction, repairs, and property maintenance. This position involves completing a variety of service calls, repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance tasks at residential and commercial properties.

We are looking for a well-rounded individual who takes pride in their workmanship, can troubleshoot problems efficiently, and is comfortable working independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform general handyman services and building repairs
- Complete daily service calls at residential and commercial properties.
- Install, repair, patch, and finish drywall.
- Perform interior and exterior painting, patching, and finishing.
- Complete general carpentry, trim, doors, hardware, and related repairs.
- Install and repair T-bar ceilings and ceiling tiles.
- Perform flooring and tile installation and repairs.
- Complete minor plumbing repairs, including faucets, fixtures, drains, and related components.
- Perform minor electrical maintenance and repairs where legally permitted and appropriately qualified.
- Troubleshoot and resolve general building maintenance issues.
- Identify, source, and purchase materials and parts required to complete jobs.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Follow all applicable health and safety regulations and building codes.
- Communicate professionally with customers, property managers, and team members.
- Complete assigned work efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of experience in general construction, handyman services, or building maintenance.
- Strong working knowledge of drywall, painting, carpentry, T-bar ceilings, tiling, and general repairs.




- Practical knowledge of minor plumbing and electrical maintenance.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage daily service calls.
- Must own basic hand tools required for the position.
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, equipment, and safe work practices.
- Ability to source materials and determine appropriate repair solutions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional attitude and excellent customer service skills.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Understanding of proper equipment, tool, and material storage procedures.
- Valid Working at Heights Certificate (Fall Protection) required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks associated with general building maintenance.
