As a Pharmacist, you support safe, effective medication use through careful review, clear communication, and collaborative patient care. You work with patients and healthcare colleagues to understand medication needs, explain treatment information, and help ensure care is coordinated and responsive.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Provide consultation including minor ailment assessments and answer medication-related questions through various mediums efficiently and courteously

2. Perform clinical verifications for prescriptions on time to ensure efficient operations

3. Conduct technical checks on medication orders in an productive manner

4. Provide coaching and guidance to pharmacy team members to improve the pharmacy processes

5. Provide guidance to pharmacy students through shadowing opportunities, direct coaching, and timely, constructive feedback to support their learning and professional growth.





6. Partner with pharmacy manager and operations management to review processes regularly to ensure optimal efficiency, effectiveness and embrace continuous improvement

7. Review escalated issues for resolution. Interface with patients and teammembers as needed to be resolved.

8. Ensure compliance with applicable Federal and Provincial laws, rules and regulations

9. Proactively collaborate with the team to ensure continuity of care and minimize therapy interruptions for patients.
