Shift: Full Time Afternoons, Monday to Friday 3:00 pm to 1:00 am

Summary

The Machine Operator - Panel Line sets up and operates the panel line to produce quality packaging products. You will change material rolls, monitor production, check product quality and prepare finished skids for shipment.

Responsibilities

- Set up and operate the panel line, review work orders, complete roll changes, and make approved adjustments
- Monitor production, adhesive application, and cutting, check panel dimensions and quality against specifications
- Count, label and secure finished skids, separate and bale scrap, and record production and quality information.
- Follow protected work procedures, keep the work area clean, and report equipment problems and quality concerns promptly.
- Qualifications
- Machine operation and/or packaging experience an asset.
- Able to read work orders and drawings, use measuring tools and make routine adjustments.




- Reliable, detail oriented and able to communicate and work with others.
- Able to stand, bend, push and pull regularly and lift up to 50 Lbs.
- Forklift certification is an asset but not required. Training will be provided
