The Agricultural Foreman Mechanic leads and performs mechanical maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting across Greenleaf Seeds Ltd and KRM Farms Ltd.’s fleet of agricultural and heavy-duty equipment. We are grain and oilseed producers specializing in pedigreed seeds and are located in Tisdale, Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities

- Lead and perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on KRM Farms Ltd.’s agricultural, transport, and heavy-duty equipment
- Oversee daily workflow to ensure safe, high-quality work
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems efficiently
- Order and track parts, maintain inventory, and coordinate with suppliers for timely service
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and preventive maintenance schedules
- Collaborate with KRM Farms Ltd. management to plan repairs, reduce downtime, and prepare equipment for seasonal operations
- Operate farm equipment seasonally

Education & Experience

- Red Seal Journeyperson certification in heavy-duty equipment or agricultural equipment technology, or equivalent credentials, is preferred
- A minimum of three to five years of mechanical experience in agriculture, trucking, or heavy equipment
- Ability to operate all farm equipment, including large tractors, combines,



and other agricultural machinery
- Experience leading or mentoring a small team is considered an asset
- A valid Class 5 driver’s licence is required; a Class 1A or 3A licence is an asset

Skills & Abilities

- Strong diagnostic and repair skills in agricultural, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems, engines, and transmissions
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong communication and leadership skills within a small-team setting
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 96.0 per week
