Overview

The Dental Assistant supports smooth, attentive dental care by preparing treatment areas, assisting during procedures, and helping patients understand what to expect. This role works closely with the dental team to keep visits organized and comfortable.

Duties

- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments, maintain an orderly clinical environment, and support safe, efficient patient visits.
- Assist the dentist during procedures, anticipate needs, and help patients feel informed and at ease.
- Update patient records, coordinate appointment details, and communicate relevant information with the dental team.

Requirements

Required: Practical dental assisting capabilities, clear communication,



careful attention to detail, and the ability to support patients and coordinate information accurately are essential to these duties. Medical terminology helps with clear, consistent communication in a dental setting. Preferred: Experience as a dental receptionist or exposure to pediatrics or orthodontics is advantageous; familiarity with Epic, Dentrix, or CAD tools can also support patient coordination and clinical workflows.

Pay: From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
