We are currently seeking a motivated and dependable 1st or 2nd Year Automotive Technician Apprentice to join our growing service team in Bay Roberts.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is eager to learn, develop their skills, and build a long-term career in the automotive industry. With hands-on experience, ongoing training, and successful completion of classroom requirements, the successful candidate will have opportunities to advance toward becoming a licensed Journeyman Automotive Technician.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform routine maintenance on cars, SUVs, and light-duty trucks.
- Complete tire changes, brake repairs, and other light-duty mechanical repairs.
- Assist with vehicle diagnostics and more advanced repairs as skills and experience develop.
- Participate in on-the-job, online, and potentially classroom training.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Work efficiently while maintaining Avalon Ford’s high standards for quality and customer service.

Qualifications and Requirements





- Currently enrolled in a college Automotive Technician program.
- Strong motivation to learn and develop technical skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting and under pressure.
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to provide a driver’s abstract.
- Ability to provide a clean letter of conduct.
