About Sherwood Village Restaurant

Sherwood Village Restaurant is looking for motivated, reliable, and hardworking Kitchen Helpers / Cooks to join our growing kitchen team. We offer a welcoming restaurant environment serving a variety of stone oven pizzas, pasta, burgers, appetizers, entrees, and more.

We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, enjoy working as part of a team, and are passionate about preparing quality food while maintaining high kitchen standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with daily kitchen operations, food preparation, and cooking.
- Prepare ingredients, including chopping vegetables, portioning meats, preparing sauces, and organizing food supplies.
- Assist with preparing pizzas, pasta, burgers, appetizers, and other menu items.
- Follow recipes, portion standards, and food presentation guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and temperature control procedures.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace health and safety regulations.
- Assist with receiving, organizing, and rotating inventory.
- Work efficiently during busy service hours while maintaining food quality and consistency.
- Support kitchen team members and complete opening, closing,



and cleaning duties as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Previous restaurant or commercial kitchen experience is an asset.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible work ethic.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen supplies when required.
- Knowledge of food safety and handling practices is preferred.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from kitchen management.
