Qualifications – Long-Term Care Home

Location: Thunder Bay

Department: Registered Nurse (RN) – Long-Term Care (LTC)

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: 3 months with possibility of extension

Pay Rate: $60/hr

Travel and accommodation : Not provided

CNO Registration (Required)

Minimum 2 years of Long-Term Care experience

BLS / CPR Certification (Required)

Ability to work assigned shifts, including weekends and holidays as required

Responsibilities:
Registered Nurses (RNs) are required to adhere to the scope of practice as defined by the College of Nurses of Ontario. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

- Conduct comprehensive resident assessments and provide ongoing nursing care
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and care plans
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement resident care plans
- Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes in health status
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in resident health records
- Ensure compliance with Long-Term Care regulations, infection control practices, and safety standards

Note: Duties may vary slightly based on the facility and shift,



with specific guidance provided during site orientation.

Experience:

- Minimum 2 years of relevant Canadian Long-Term Care nursing experience (required)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong clinical judgment and adaptability in a fast-paced workplace
