Apply mineral processing expertise as a Plant Metallurgist supporting mill operations at Impala Canada’s Lac des Iles Mine. Work twelve-hour shifts on a fourteen-days-in, fourteen-days-off rotation. Reporting to the Senior Metallurgist, you will provide technical guidance, monitor metallurgical performance, and improve plant results. The position focuses on throughput, recovery, costs, process control, and operational reporting. You will also support laboratory operations and metallurgical students.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily metallurgical support and technical guidance to mill operations
- Monitor performance and conduct surveys improving throughput and recovery
- Prepare metallurgical balances, reports, and operator guidelines
- Lead improvement initiatives targeting recovery,



productivity, and cost efficiency
- Develop operating strategies and procedures for plant performance

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in metallurgical or chemical engineering
- Minimum two years’ mineral processing experience preferred
- Knowledge of crushing, grinding, and flotation preferred
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis
- Robust troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills Use mineral processing, process optimization, and analytical skills to support safe, efficient mill performance at Lac des Iles Mine.
