Build performance-critical execution systems at LayerZero using Rust, concurrency expertise, and AI-assisted implementation. Work on foundational infrastructure layers powering Zero. As a Systems Engineer, you will shape runtime architecture and scalable execution for distributed systems. The work spans systems programming, networking, state management, and performance optimization. Your architectural decisions will influence correctness, scale, and stability under load.

Key Responsibilities
- Architect high-performance systems and implement them in Rust using AI
- Build and optimize runtime, networking, and state management components
- Profile CPU, memory, network, and scheduling performance
- Debug race conditions, deadlocks, and production performance issues




- Own systems from design through production deployment

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical Computer Science experience
- Two or more years building systems-level software
- Robust systems programming and AI-assisted software development proficiency
- Deep understanding of concurrency, CPU architecture, cache hierarchy, and operating systems
