Lead English programming at Holy Trinity Catholic High School through curriculum guidance, collaboration, and support for student achievement. This is a full-time 1.0 FTE leadership assignment. The Department Head serves on the school leadership team and reports to school administration. The position guides English program implementation while aligning curriculum design with Ontario Catholic School Graduate Expectations and Ministry guidelines. Accountability for student achievement supports Board and School Improvement Plans.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance for English department programs
- Facilitate communication between administration and department members
- Coordinate program delivery with student needs




- Compile Ministry and Board curriculum requirements
- Lead professional development supporting the school improvement plan

Requirements:
- Intermediate and Senior qualifications in English
- Honour Specialist qualification in English
- Minimum five years teaching in the secondary panel
- Understanding of current secondary education priorities
