Lead financial reporting and US GAAP accounting for Birks in Montreal, managing month-end close, tax compliance, and a finance team. As Finance Manager, you will oversee financial accounting, governance, and reporting while leading FP&A; activities. Your work includes preparing financial statements, reporting packages, forecasts, and key performance indicators. You will also provide analysis and insight to senior management, operations, and the Board of Directors.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise month-end close, financial statements, and accounting analyses
- Prepare consolidated reports, notes, and management discussion analysis
- Coordinate external audits and support SEC public filings
- Lead forecasts, annual profit planning, and financial modeling
- Oversee tax filings, expense reporting, and internal controls

Requirements:
- Five to seven years of relevant experience
- Experience managing two to three direct reports
- Essential Big Four firm auditing experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling skills
