Job Title: Snow Shovelers – Walkway Crew Members

Location: 3077 Guelph Line, Burlington

Position Overview

Green Thumb Landscaping is seeking hardworking, reliable, and consistent Walkway Crew Members to join our team this winter. As a Walkway Crew Member, you will be responsible for clearing walkways, sidewalks, pathways, driveways, stairways, and other areas that cannot be plowed, via shoveling and small snow throwers as well as using salt/ice melter in these areas after the snow has been cleared.

This is an on-call position.

The role is a physically demanding, on-call position that requires dedication, reliability, and the ability to work in harsh weather conditions on an on-call basis. This role also presents an opportunity to join our team full time in the spring and working throughout the summer and fall months next season.

You will report to our yard at 3077 Guelph Line in Burlington at the start of a designated shift and end your shift here at completion of route.

What we Need From You:

· Able to shovel heavy snow for extended periods

· Live within 30 minutes of Burlington

· Ability to work long and irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays inclusive of having full availability

· Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented

· G License strongly recommended

· Previous snow removal experience is an asset but not required

· Bonus if you can operate a 4x4 Plow Truck and/or Machine (skid steer, etc.)

Our yard is located at Guelph Line and Dundas Street in Burlington. We are close to bus transportation, the 407 Dundas cut off is 1 km from our yard and we are approximately 3 km North of the QEW.
