ABOUT THE ROLE

The Amazing Brentwood is looking for an enthusiastic, outgoing Guest Services Ambassador to help create memorable experiences for our community. This unique role combines exceptional guest service with event support, community programming, and marketing initiatives. Your days will involve welcoming guests, assisting with Centre services, and helping bring events to life.

The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with people, thrives in a dynamic environment, and wants to gain hands-on experience in events, community engagement, and shopping centre marketing.

Primary Job Responsibilities

Guest Experience

- Deliver exceptional guest service and create memorable experiences for every guest, anticipate needs, and create memorable experiences
- Act as an Ambassador for The Amazing Brentwood by having the most up to date knowledge on all in Centre events and programming, retailer information, and all Centre and Guest offerings
- Assist with all Guest Service offerings such as wayfinding, gift card sales, gift wrap, mobile charger and wheelchair rentals
- Answer incoming calls and respond to guest inquiries in-person and on Facebook live chat
- Dispatch other departments to communicate guest requests or issues via a 2-way radio device

Marketing and Events

- Assist in the planning, setup,



execution and teardown of Centre events, activations and community programming
- Represent The Amazing Brentwood at events and engage with guests in a welcoming, energetic manner
- Support retailer promotions and community partnerships during events

Operations

- Complete regular greetings, Centre tours and property inspections ensuring all brand standards are being maintained
- Maintain and balance a cash float at the end of every shift
- Assist with administrative tracking, inventory, budgets and reporting

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- Displays service excellence in dealing with internal and external guests, colleagues, and partners
- Has initiative, takes personal ownership and is able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Creative, energetic and adaptable
- Performs job duties in an accurate, detail-oriented, and productive fashion
- Possesses robust interpersonal skills and is outgoing in nature when dealing with the general public
- Basic graphic design and knowledge of InDesign is an asset

Required Training and Experience

- 2+ years of previous experience in a high customer-facing role
- High levels of competency with Microsoft Word, Adobe and Microsoft Excel
- Experience assisting with events, marketing or community programs is considered an asset
- University or post-secondary education an asset
- Second or third language an asset

Working Conditions

- Interested candidates must be able to work shifts throughout the week, evenings, and weekends
- Shifts will be 4 – 8 hours per day

Pay: $18.25-$21.00 per hour
