Kawartha Animal Hospital is a family owned small-animal hospital serving dogs and cats in Lindsay, Ontario.

We are in immediate need of an experienced Veterinary Receptionist to cover a medical leave. The start date would be as soon as possible, ending likely sometime early in the new year. The exact end date will be communicated to the successful applicant as soon as it is known. The hours of work would be Mondays, 7:30am to 4:30pm, Wednesdays from 8am to 5:15pm, and one or two Saturdays a month, from 7:30am to 12:15pm approximately.

The ideal candidate would have some client service experience in a veterinary clinic setting, with experience with AVImark, strong computer skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in what can be a busy setting. The position primarily entails answering phone calls and emails from clients, booking appointments,



assisting with keeping the reception area and exam rooms clean between appointments, and other organizational duties. Attention to detail, the ability to prioritize and organize tasks, maintain a confident and friendly demeanour during busy times, and to work in a team workplace are crucial.

Please note, only applicants with recent, applicable experience will be considered for this role, if you do not have previous experience in a Veterinary Receptionist position, with AVImark experience, you will not be contacted.

Pay: $17.95-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 24.0 per week
