Lead geophysics software delivery at Seequent while balancing technical leadership, people management, and cross-functional collaboration from a local office two days weekly. Reporting to the Director, Software Development, Geoscience, you will lead one or more teams delivering scalable, secure, high-quality software solutions. The position combines engineering strategy, agile development, roadmap planning, and operational reliability. You will guide experienced technical professionals while aligning delivery across global functions and development centres.

Key Responsibilities
- Build teams through hiring, mentoring, development, and performance management
- Translate strategic goals into actionable software development roadmaps
- Align architects, cloud infrastructure, SRE, security, and product teams




- Embed security, compliance, availability, and incident response practices
- Lead developer experience and operational efficiency improvements

Requirements:
- Ten or more years of software engineering experience
- At least three years leading teams directly or indirectly
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Solid interpersonal and cross-team communication skills
