About the role
The Fashion Retail Academy is seeking an Associate Lecturer to support the delivery of Data Analytics apprenticeship programmes. Working as part of a collaborative programme team, you will bring strong subject expertise in data analytics and a passion for developing learners' technical, analytical and professional skills. This role requires an Associate Lecturer who can deliver engaging and industry-informed teaching across data analytics topics, helping learners apply analytical thinking, data-driven decision making and digital skills within their workplace contexts. You will support learners to develop the technical, analytical and critical thinking skills required to succeed within data-focused roles and progress throughout their apprenticeship journey. Working closely with the Programme Manager and wider delivery team, you will role-model excellent teaching practice and contribute to a collaborative, reflective culture focused on continuous improvement. This role would suit a flexible and industry-engaged practitioner who is confident delivering high-quality teaching, feedback and learner support within Data Analytics apprenticeship programmes. Qualifications:
Relevant degree and professional experience in Data Analytics,



Data Science, Statistics, Business Intelligence, Computing or a related discipline. A recognised teaching qualification is desirable but not essential.

Experience:
A strong professional background in Data Analytics, Data Science, Business Intelligence or a related field. Experience of teaching, training or supporting learners is desirable. Experience of delivering apprenticeships or other accredited programmes would be beneficial.

Skills:
Strong knowledge of data analytics concepts and tools, with the ability to apply learning to real workplace scenarios. Ability to explain complex information clearly and support learners to develop their analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Hourly rate: £38.02 per teaching hour, inclusive of preparation and associated pedagogic work for Level 2 to 4.
- Hourly rate: £42.49 per teaching hour, inclusive of preparation and associated pedagogic work for Level 4 to 7.
- Non-teaching duties across provisions, including course development work, are paid at £24.13 per hour inclusive. Closing Date 8am on Tuesday, 17 November 2026.
