As Operations Supervisor, you will oversee resource management supporting Transmission and Distribution demands. The position coordinates scheduling, system reliability, and FortisBC safety and Lockout procedures. You will lead a highly technical team, including Power-line Technicians, while managing operational budgets and project costs.

Key Responsibilities
- Schedule, prioritize, and delegate Transmission and Distribution work
- Anticipate medium-term resource requirements for operational and project needs
- Lead technical teams and set goals, objectives, and priorities
- Manage operational budgets and identify cost optimization solutions




- Implement safety and mandatory reliability standards and procedures

Requirements:
- Power Line Technician certification with four to seven years’ experience
- Transmission and Distribution operations, construction, and supervisory experience
- Working knowledge of electric power system infrastructure
- Working knowledge of project management and Transmission systems
- Knowledge of safety regulations, Microsoft Office, labour relations, and budgets Lead FortisBC Transmission and Distribution operations through scheduling, technical supervision, safety compliance, and cost management.
