Job Overview

The Siding Installer fits and finishes exterior siding on building projects, following plans and established work practices. The role involves preparing surfaces, handling materials, and completing careful installation and sealing work. You’ll work alongside colleagues to keep projects moving and deliver a neat, weather-resistant finish.

Responsibilities

- Prepare exterior surfaces and measure, cut, and position siding to suit the project.
- Install siding with hand tools, checking alignment and fit as work progresses.
- Read blueprints to understand layouts and installation details; ask teammates to confirm project-specific instructions when needed.
- Apply caulking around joints and openings, and lift and move materials safely.

Skills

Required: Practical hand-tool skills, safe heavy lifting, and the ability to follow installation instructions and work carefully with materials are key for completing siding tasks.
Preferred: Construction experience, carpentry, blueprint reading, caulking, or handyman experience can help you contribute confidently, adapt to different project needs, and coordinate effectively with the installation team.

Pay: $19.95-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
