You will own systems through architecture, development, deployment, monitoring, and improvement. The work includes service design, payment provider integrations, rules engines, and collaboration with Engineering and Product leadership.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain scalable backend systems end to end
- Automate notifications, deadlines, evidence, and dispute responses
- Integrate payment service providers across broader payment networks




- Build velocity rules, blocklists, and device fingerprinting
- Monitor workflows and improve reliability through testing

Requirements:
- Proven ownership of backend systems throughout their lifecycle
- Robust software engineering and system design skills
- Experience building systems from scratch
- High standards for code quality, testing, and reliability
- Experience in payments, fraud, or risk management advantageous Lead backend architecture, dispute automation, and risk capabilities that strengthen payment protection for merchants.
